Aged care chairs with antibacterial benefits
Arcare Aged Care, one of Australia’s leading residential aged care providers, has chosen the Buro Lindis 4-leg chairs with arms for their newly opened 5-star facility in Gisborne, Victoria.
Premier Office Solutions, a trusted Buro reseller, supplied 42 Buro Lindis 4-leg chairs with arms for this project, with a further 85 chairs planned for future locations. Arcare operates over 50 unique residences across Queensland, New South Wales, and Victoria, setting a high standard for comfort and aesthetics in aged care environments.
The Buro Lindis chairs were strategically placed throughout the facility’s activity and physio rooms, providing comfort and durability.
Mel Taouk, Buro Account Manager, commented,
“The Buro Lindis chairs were selected for their custom upholstery options, AFRDI Level 6 certification, and strong 4-leg frame, making them an ideal choice for high-use areas.”
The chairs were custom upholstered in Warwick Lustrell Ranger Haze vinyl, a fabric known for its transitional matte finish and leather-look embossing. The soft, dry-touch finish of Lustrell Ranger not only elevates the visual appeal but also offers practical benefits such as bleach-cleanability and heavy commercial rating. Additionally, the fabric’s HealthGuard treatment provides antibacterial and antimicrobial properties, enhancing the overall safety and hygiene of the seating.
The Arcare team was highly satisfied with the selection, noting the generous size of the seat and backrest, as well as the chair’s compliance with specific height requirements for both the seat and armrests.
Premier Office Solutions shared,
“The custom upholstery looks great, and our client was very happy.”
The success of the initial installation has led to plans for rolling out an additional 85 Buro Lindis chairs across two more Arcare locations. This ongoing partnership underscores the reliability and quality of Buro’s seating solutions in meeting the demands of high-end aged care environments.
