Corrections NZ are located in the the 13-story office building, Mayfair House in Wellington.
When selecting their office furniture, they were looking for a suitable conversation chair that would support casual catch ups between staff members.
Corrections NZ choose the Konfurb Hady visitor chair. This wooden legged chair is popular for waiting areas, and in this environment makes a great meeting chair. They enjoyed the comfortable armrests and they helped create an optimal posture, that encourages staying seated upright while still being able to relax into the seat and back.
Being able to upholster the chairs in any fabric was great for the project as it allowed the chairs to follow the same colour scheme as the rest of the project. With colours changing as they went up the floors.
Europlan lead the interior fit-out, theming each level of the building in a different feature colour.
